Facilitator training for YLTW 2014 is being held this week in Bellingen.   We have 16 students attending learning the skills required to run a YLTW Congress locally.  We are very pleased with the level of attendance and interest in this year's facilitator training for the Mid Norh Coast with many youth from Bellingen and Coffs Harbour included in that number.    YLTW in Bellingen and Coffs Harbour on 3 4 5 June 2014 are promising to be very vibrant and dynamic.

East Timor Newsletter Christmas 2013

Norma and Juacho are from El Salvador. They participated in the 5 week Climate Resilience Leadership Program run by OzGREEN in partnership with Seres in 2011 and 2012. During this time there was a major flood in Norma’s village and 2 children died. She was very concerned about the lack of safe space for young people in her community and the lack of understanding and models for sustainability. Working within the limits of what she could get started with straight away, Norma decided to start her dream in her own home - and Casa Verde (Green House) was born. Two years later Casa Verde is a thriving centre for sustainability running regular programs for youth. The initiative is supported by local artists and jewellery makers collective.
